Hi Zack,
I had a problem with the display on my transplant about a month ago or thereabouts and even got an RMA and was ready to send it in. Fortunately I was able to continue using the BN with speech. Just for kicks and grins, go into file manager and navigate to the dictionaries folder on your flash disk. When you see the keysoft.ksd file, erase it and immediately do a standard reset with no keys held down. That's what I did, and immediately after the reset, my Braille display came back. Who knows, you might get lucky too. Try that and let us know what happens.

Good luck.
Tom

Subject: [Braillenote] braille display not operating

Hi,
My braille display is not functioning. I have mentioned this before. When I do a reset with no keys held down, it just turns off. My mpower transplant is now approaching six years old. Should I get a KGS display for this unit, or what do you suggest?
