Dear Zach and List:

I'd recommend you contact Humanware Tech Support and get an RMA
to send the unit in then after they have carefully examined it,
be guided by their recommendations.  The problem may be in your
Braille display itself or possibly related circuits or the
motherboard.

Good luck and hopefully it won't cost too much to fix.
