Yo Derek:

This is what I do usually to calibrate my battery and I've never had a
problem. I basically let it go to full at 100 in the charger. Then, I
unplug and turn on "excersise the braille display" option on my
braille note (that's space with i [read with i on qt], then x [on both
models]).

Then just basically let it do that, I usually turn it on at like 8pm
since I'm using it and let it go until it dies. I typically do that on
weekends.

That's just my way of doing it. Not sure if that's advisable
though,---it's always helped me, so I'm not sure.
