I bet you are in one-handed mode. Turn off the unit, hold down the enter key, then turn it back on and then release the enter key. See if this helps. If not, a reset will fix it; sometimes the keyboard will not work for some reason, and the only way to reload the driver(s) that control it is to reset.
Have a great day, Alex ----- Original Message ----- From: "Linda" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, January 13, 2009 9:14 PM Subject: [Braillenote] Locking Braille Note Hi everyone, I actually have two questions. When you are at a particular spot where you want to read the notes you've taken on your Braille Note, is there a way to lock it in that position so that you don't lose your place? Tonight I gave a speech, and as I was walking up to the lectern my Braille Note went blank. I had to give my speech without notes, and, thankfully, everything went well. But I don't want that to happen again. I know I could turn it off, but then I'd have to find the beginning of the document. The other question I have is that somehow later this evening the Braille Note locked up. It is stuck at a certain place. When I turn it on it will ask if I want to continue editing, but I can't do anything. Not even check the time or date? Is there a way to fix this problem without doing a reset?
