Hi, as I said I do it all the time and haven't lost any data to date.

To save a document press space with S or on a qt press control with S. Then it will ask for a name and it will normally give the name you already had for it so press enter and it will say "file already exists replace?" then hit Y for yes, it will save then you will be back in the document.

Hope this helps,
From Shaz.

Subject: Re: [Braillenote] Locking Braille Note

I thought you were not supposed to do this, that you were
supposed to return
to the main menu before switching off? What is the command to
save before
switching off? It would be so much easier to be able to save,
switch off,
then turn on the unit later and be exactly where you want to be,
instead of
having to go through the whole open a document, address, planner,
whatever
all over again.
Thanks.
Alice
