Jamie, 1. Regarding the use of KeyNote or Eloquence, is there a noticeable difference in responsiveness between the two synthesizers on the unit? I am certainly more familiar with Eloquence, but will switch to KeyNote in a heartbeat if it will improve my productivity with the notetaker. Answer: Yes, Keynote is much more responsive and requires less RAM.
2. When I receive my new BrailleNote, what is the liklihood that the battery will have any charge at all? Should I just plug it into the wall as soon as I receive it or will it most likely have some charge when I get it? Answer: There is a possibility that it will have some charge but it will be BETTER to just plug it in for 4 hours for the first time. Ever time after that, 2 hours should be good for charging the unit when it runs completely flat.
