Your message surprised me. There must be something really
different about your braillenote. I have upgraded my braillenote
twice. Also I have upgraded braillenotes for 2 of my friends. I
have never experienced any trouble. As a matter of fact, my
braillenote has consistantly performed exactly as it should as
described in the users' guide. Perhaps, your braillenote needs
to go in for repairs. Thanks ever so much,

Subject: [Braillenote] upgrade
Hi everyone. I find the Braille note m-power to be the most
difficult
machine that I've ever used as far as upgrading. There are way
too many
steps and if you hit four five and reset I feel as if I have to
do it about
200 times because for some reason it doesn't take. it just keeps
on
resetting itself back to the keysoft. Why can't it be as easy as
the stream
you just plug it in put the card in and go? Yes the file is on
the root of
the card and it's one .bin file. I've been on the phone with
humanware
about 3 times now and am so frustrated that I would in some
respects
consider selling the thing and buying a laptop. This is totally
ridiculous.
If I didn't like the braille display and how much it helped me
while working
I would sure consider it.
