I have never had this either; I had a classic for almost four
years, the same unit (I remember getting the motherboard with the
cf slot on it - before that it was just pcmcia) and now I have
had my mpower for almost two years, again with no problem like
this.
Have a great day,
Alex

Hi, I have never had a Cf slot brake on me. I have had a vn
classic, a Bn Classic now an MPower and a Pk. I use the Pk most
of the time and since it only has the one storage option I put
cards in and out of it all the time. I think it all depends on
how the unit is treated and how ruff you are pulling in or out
the cards. Of course I could just be a lucky person with my
slots.
From Shaz.
Bn Qt MPower and Pk user.

Subject: [Braillenote] Cf slot
Hi. I have had the cf slot on my bn break twice now, and was
quoted the other day by a hw guy 150-1700 dollars, with no
promise that it was ever going to be fixed. I wasn't happy.
