Aah, well if you did get the sector error once then you may have this problem. It is unfortunate because it seems like it's hard for HW to track it down (they claimed it was repaired once when it really wasn't, and eventually, per my request, replaced my unit), and it seems to take a long time to work on (it was going to take several months, but as you may recall, I posted my predicament to the list and got some help on that). I have a feeling that more BrailleNotes than we think have this problem, and I know how frustrating it is. You may want to wait until you have some free time (the summer for example), gather together a fair amount of list correspondence and such related to this issue, and send in your BrailleNote. Meanwhile I would recommend storing your files on a storage card, and setting your Email client not to delete messages off the server until they are deleted from the BrailleNote.
