yes, I have had some of the dots go missing sometimes on the display. and a
lot of the time, some dots are there that shouldn't be, like the 7 and 8
dots. but just try doing the service reset again. and do plug the charger in
when doing this. it seems to work a lot better after that. See you all soon.

Hi folks, I'm having the "braille display is not active" problem with
my transplant. I wasn't aware that this is a known issue with
transplants, and that this is why hw doesn't offer a contract on them
because of it. More on that later.
Anyway I can't get my display back. I'm wondering if installing the
firmware again might cause it to come back. This has to be a software
issue because the braille comes up to say "startink keysoft."
Anyway. Has anyone tried successfully to install the firmware to get
braille back?
Any thoughts?
