I do have two thoughts to add to this. On the slim chance that your bn
crashes to the point of no return, you have no way of retrieving you data.
As long as you did backups often enough, I guess you would not have to
worry. Plus, the one time that I thought my bn was dead, it resurrected
itself several hours later.

Second, although I have not tested it, I assume, as connections go,
that the more wiring and equipment through which data has to flow, the
slower the connection. In other words, I believe that connecting a USB
drive directly to the bn might be faster than connecting a card reader to
the bn then putting a card into the bn. Also, it's more parts that could
fail at any time.

Or perhaps I'm just too careful and too impatient.

And I must agree that being able to leave something like an sd card in the
bn is nice in comparison to having to unplug everything.

Okay, maybe that was more than two...anyways, have a nice day.

Nicole

Yes you can, but a reader is a pain to carry around if you are used to
having your cf card in your bn's case. However, I cannot stress this point
enough: the Apex has 8gb of internal storage, enough for hundreds of songs
or tens of GPS maps with no need for a cf card at all.
