Hi,
I, too, second what JD wrote. In my case, BrailleNote and its potential - to
find out how it works and one day give it back to the BN community - has
been the inspiration, motivation and research topic of my decision to study
computer science. I do have plans for writing free software for BrailleNote
as a service to the BN community.

Precisely!! If I had an SDK, such a program sounds pretty easy to write, and

I would only charge you for it because I do not expect the SDK to be free. 
Having access to the possibility of expanding the bn to fit one's needs, as 
you described below, is one of the main reasons for having an SDK. Thanks
