Hello all. I'm not sure if anyone's covered this off-list, but here
goes. I haven't received emails using my BN (AOL uses an IMAP server,
and I'm still running version 7.2 on my m'power). I'm betting, though,
that an incoming message would be saved in keyword text format. If you
want to save a message as an HTM file, remember to use backspace with
x at the filename prompt repeatedly until you get the ascii file
option, THEN name the file, giving it a dot htm extension. If you
don't select to create an ascii file, you'll technically end up with a
file called X dot htm dot kwt. You won't see the "html" file in the
browser when you try to find it because you just created another text
document (you just won't see the dot kwt part of the filename on any
text document because Humanware, for some reason, thinks it's
appropriate to hide the extensions of its proprietary filetypes. They
should change that, I think!). So remember to select to create an
ascii file first, and everything should work fine. I hope this helps
anyone who's trying to do this.
