Hi Joseph,
What do you mean there is a conversion thing on the adapter cord?
I have an Apex. I also used an mPower.
Thanks.

Hi,
That could be another possibilities.
Few things though:
* If performing a warm reset does not fix this issue, then we can deduce
that it is the hardware problem.
* There is a power converter thing on the AC adapter cord. It is used to connect the unit to different electrical socket standards. Perhaps the cable that connects to it has not been plugged firmly (note that Apex's power cord
has this too).
* As Carol said, perhaps the adapter might not have been plugged firmly to the wall outlet (or an extension cord). Try reinserting the cord and see
hwat happens.
Cheers,
Joseph

It may be that the fault is with the adapter socket and not the
adapter itself.

If you haven't used this adapter before, you may find you're not
pushing it firmly enough into the BN. I certainly found that
when we moved to the Apex.

Subject: [Braillenote] How Is the Adapter Powered On?

Hi again. I have done every test I can think of, and the adapter
on my BrailleNote mPower 7.2 has power to it, but the BrailleNote
doesn't recognize that the adapter is plugged in and giving
power. The Troubleshooting section of the manual said to make
sure that the adapter was powered on. Is there a switch on the
adapter that I haven't found yet? How do I make sure that it is
"powered on" as the manual says?

Thank you for your patience.
