Hi Matt,
Check to see if:
* You were using the AC adapter when installing the upgrade.
* Try using Flash Disk method - download the upgrade to the
"none" folder of Flash Disk.
Alternatively, download the zip version through the Apex, then
unzip the zipped archive to the root folder of the Flash Disk and
see what happens.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] slow progress on first upgrade
Hi,
I got the license stuff all downloaded and set up easy, but am
not having as easy a time with the upgrade itself, downloaded it
and installed 3 different times, 3 different ways, and it gets to
the point of extracting files, and then says that the upgrade has
failed and to contact humanware tech support.
I started out the 12th person in line on phone today and finally
made it to number 1 and then was given voicemail. I plan to take
a break from it for a while. I'm blessed to have it still
working as is and it's only a week or so old. Hate to get
frustrated with it this early on. Have always liked humanware's
products, and I really don't want to get upset with them over
something which isn't broken yet. I tried downloading from the
apex, and from the computer, I downloaded to a micro sd card in a
sd card adapter.
Makes me wonder if the card didn't have enough space, because
none of the 3 downloads seemed to work. May try downloading to
the none menu in the apex's flash memory next?
I don't know at this point. Frustrated with it.
Matt
