Hi Peter,

I did a similar thing when I loaded my KS9.2. I had both the license file and KS9.2 on the root of the flash disk. When I did the soft reset I got the same message that you did. Because there was no way to get to the flash disk, I had to use my pc to download the license onto an SD card. I put it in the Apex and did a soft reset. It worked! I guess the moral of our story is you can't load both files on one reset.

Hope this helps.

Debby

Subject: [Braillenote] cannot find a valid license file message

I tried updating to KS 9,2.
I put the license file I received in an email from HW on the root of the flash disk and put in the s d card which had 9,2 on it.
I did the soft reset when prompted.
The Apex 32 went through the 5 stages and then I got the message
"cannot find a valid license file" if I hit h with space I get the message "this is usually caused by a missing license or an invalid license file for this device. I have tried a soft reset and a reset by holding in the reset button for 5 seconds. I only this get this message.
Any suggestions?
Peter
