Hi Deb
Thanks for this!
I actually find that there are 2 licence files in my none folder on the flash disk that seem to be identical! Do you think that's why this error occurred? So, are you saying install the licence file first, to the none folder on the flash disk, then reset, and then put in the s d card with KS 9,2 and go from there?

Hi Peter,

I did a similar thing when I loaded my KS9.2. I had both the
license file and KS9.2 on the root of the flash disk. When I did
the soft reset I got the same message that you did. Because there
was no way to get to the flash disk, I had to use my pc to
download the license onto an SD card. I put it in the Apex and
did a soft reset. It worked! I guess the moral of our story is
you can't load both files on one reset.

Hope this helps.

Debby

I tried updating to KS 9,2.
I put the license file I received in an email from HW on the root
of the flash disk and put in the s d card which had 9,2 on it.
I did the soft reset when prompted.
The Apex 32 went through the 5 stages and then I got the message
"cannot find a valid license file" if I hit h with space I get
the message "this is usually caused by a missing license or an
invalid license file for this device. I have tried a soft reset
and a reset by holding in the reset button for 5 seconds. I only
this get this message.
Any suggestions?
Peter
