That's good. I really wanted to go to the presentation last night to mention this if it didn't come up but had another commitment and didn't get back in time... Glad to hear they're still working on these issues.

That's something that Greg mentioned too - that VoiceOver assumes you are using 6 dot when in fact all eight dots are supported. Greg also said that HW and Apple are still communicating on supporting full QT support and to implement 8 dot support.

It seems if the apex keyboard is set to 6 dot braille, and the iphone has 8 dot braille on, the dot 7 key on the apex works as a shift key allowing computer braille to be used... The pass through command 4 5 6 enter works perfectly fine in 6 dot braille... Make using computer braille easier anyway, but it means I'll have to remember to change the keyboard settings back when I want 8 dot braille on the apex...

Annoying!
