Hi, I've had this problem too with a couple of files. As Chris said, keysoft does not support the .docx files, so try saving them as something else on your laptop, such as .rtf (Rich Text Format) or .doc. Then send the file to the Apex as that type and see what happens. Also, when you say that translating the file didn't work, did you mean that translating it on the Apex didn't work, or did you mean that changing it to another file type on the laptop didn't work? Hope this has helped and maybe one day Humanware will make support for .docx files possible, that would be a very helpful addition to KeySoft sense the default file type setting on MS word is .docx and that would eliminate having to change the file type of everything that has to be transfered between the two devices.
