Maybe you need to go to the Humanware site and order a new battery.
Rechargeable batteries wear out eventually. If you had the same one for
five years, it's about time for it to die.
Don't get a battery from Radio Shack; get it from Humanware. I'm
surprised you got a charger from Radio Shack. I'd think Humanware would
want you to use their charger.
