Hi Allison,

This is because you are going back in and changing something before you save the email in your OutBox. So, Keysoft somehow seems to think that you're starting a new email, and puts the signature in there again, which doesn't make sense, but that's what it does. So, you can do one of two things to fix this. The first is to get into your email message, then hit space b for block commands and mark the top of your signature as the top marker. Then go down to the bottom of your signature, hit space b again, and mark the bottom of your signature with the bottom marker. Once back in the block commands menu, hit d and delete the block from your document. The second (and I'm sorry, this is a little obscure) is to hit y on the "rendy to send this email" prompt. It will then save your email in your Outbox, so you can edit the message before you send it. So, if you need to fix something in your email, go back to the KeyMail menu, then go to read email, select the OutBox folder, and hit Enter to select your email. Then you can go to your email message and edit what you need to edit. The signature will not appear at the top of your email then. I'm sorry that both of these methods are a little tedious/obscure, but those are the only ways I've found to fix this. Hope this helps!

Chris

Subject: [Braillenote] An e-mail Question

Hi everyone,
I'm back on the list after a long absence.
I'm a long-time Braillenote user, and I have an Apex, which I
love. I've had it since it first came out.
I have a question about e-mail.
I have set up a signature, as well as a reply signature. When
Keysoft asks me if I'm ready to send the e-mail and I say not
because I want to fix something, and I go into my outbox, open
the e-mail to make changes, my signature is at the top of the
e-mail, which of course I don't want. Why does this happen, and
is there any way to correct it?
