First, it seems we mPower users have just cause for being utterly furious with this new 8.1 upgrade. I can't believe they're going to make us pay for nothing more than indirect access to the contents of pdf files, and a change in the name of a
menu option! That's just wrong!
Also notice there's absolutely no mention of the fact that they outright forced us to use eloquence speech in the book reader. From the release notes, this hasn't been rectified, and neither has the need to use that same synthesizer in order to be
able to hear the majority of changed sound files after a reset.
Anyway, can the registry be messed with on an mPower? That changing of the
cookies and temp files location thing sounds very useful, but not if I can't do
it on this bn of mine. I also hate having to redo my log ins after a hard
reset.
