Indeed you do. That said, let us not forget that they pulled the same
trick with apex users: 9.2, a paid upgrade, had two features: the pdf
translator and the braille mode for qt users in terminal, which was
not a new feature at all but rather a bug fix (if I understand it
right).

I believe you can edit the registry; just follow the same steps. If
the registry viewer program gives you a registry, then go for it,
otherwise it will not be supported. Note that you must set up a
partnership for this to work. As always, please be careful when
modifying the registry, and no one except you is responsible for
anything that may go wrong.
