I too have had issues with braillnote apex batteries. I have two of them. I always could get both my batteries charged up to 100 %. I had to go on a
trip abroad for a month and both my batteries remained uncharged. Now a
weird thing happens. Whenever I turn on the unit the battery charge level is
shown as 0 %. After few moments when I check it again it shows 1 % but it
also shows adaptor off. It's always 0 % adapter on and 1 % adaptor off. When
I take out the adaptor the unit shuts off.
Another thing, when the unit is not on charger, I can feel the dots on
braille display very clearly. But when it is on charger, I can't feel the
dots at all, when the unit is switched off. When it is on and on charger, I
can use braille display without any problem. Thankfully I don't have to rely
on this unit for anything. I wanted to assume the batteries dead and ordered
another battery, but not sure if the problem is with the unit itself.

Subject: [Braillenote] Apex only charging to 92 percent

Hi everyone,

I'm having a problem with my Apex's charging. Sometimes, when I plug in the Apex, it will only charge to 95% and stay there. Other times, it will only charge to 92% and stay there. I can't see any pattern in this and can't tell HW how to reproduce the problem if I called them. So, how would I fix this? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Chris Nusbaum
