Wordprocessing is one area I have not heard much about on the iOS side, so I would look into it more if I were you. However, I know plenty of editors on iOS that support docx files. The mail client supports imap and works very well. Plus, of course, there are thousands of apps for everything you could imagine, and the gps is supposed to be good as well.
