I have a pacmate and a braillelite. The BrailleLite is my device of choice
for a reliable notetaker. The pacmate that I have crashes at inopportune
moments like in a meeting.
All that to say keep the BrailleNote.

If I were you, and I'm also studying law at the moment, I wouldn't go
for the pac mate at all. I used one and it was awful for word
processing, and if you love braille, I mean nice contracted braille,
then really don't. You can do word processing and email much faster
and with less hassle on the braillenote. Also, I was studying language
and the pac mate was awful for second language braille support, bn
much better. Calendar on BN also much better. PM is just good for
mainstream apps, but I think the technology is old anyway.

Yes, the Sense products are getting multiple language support, but I
am not sure how well their implementation is. For instance, I have no
idea if you can mark parts of files with different language tags,
spellcheck in languages, enter text in that language's native braille
(as opposed to computer braille), and so on. Still, the u2 (the newest
SenseNote) sounds like a great product and is worth looking into.

You are the only one who can decide what suits your needs, but I had a Pac
