Yeah. Mine does the same thing when I turn it off. It just stays
saying what ever it said before I turned it off. I think that that
would still save the battery because the pins are not moving every
time you press buttons. But sometimes I will turn off my display and
it will stay off for a few minutes and then come back on. I don't know
why it comes back on and I would like to find a way that when you turn
it off it stays off.
