Hi Joseph, that is true, some battery drainage will occur, though
WIFI and Bluetooth should enter sleep mode meaning that they
should not be actively drawing power. They do not draw power as
though the Apex were switched on. Also, assuming Jesse is
starting out at 100%, that does seem to be an awfully drastic
drop!

Even though it may appear that the unit is "off", it is sleeping,
ready to
be awakened at anytime. For battery drain, that is quite normal
if you have
wireless features (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) on, as it drains the battery
faster.
I'll explain power management features and various sleep modes of
the
BrailleNote in due course (soon).

When I take my apex off the charger at night, it drains to about
87 percent.
Why is this?
And how could I stop it.
