Hi Viridiana,

Unfortunately the BrailleNote cannot charge the iPod. However, as
Joseph pointed out, the Apex works well as a Braille display/input
device for the iOS devices. Alex Hall has put out a series of podcasts
on www.braillenoteusers.info on how to pair the Apex and use it with
the iPod Touch. I would strongly recommend that you listen to those
podcasts. For Voiceover touch screen gestures, I have a list on my
computer that I can send you as an attachment if you like.

As for charging, I would highly recommend you get a wall charger or a
USB to wall outlet converter and charge your iPod Touch using a wall
outlet. I always do it that way, and it works very well for me. I
don't use iTunes to put music on my iPod (I used to but not any more),
instead I use a third party free app that gives me a lot more control
over my files, so there's no real need for me to connect my iPod Touch
to the computer at all.

Hope this helps, and please feel free to let me know if you have any
questions, always glad to help!

Best wishes,
