Welcome to the list. For future reference, could you give us the type of
keyboard (braille or QWERTY) you are using?
As for thumb drive, could be a number of things, including unsupported brand
(highly unlikely), the drive not getting enough power (again highly
unlikely) or the drive might not have been formatted correctly (Apex wants
FAT family of file systems). Another way to transfer content would be via SD
cards (if your computer (if you use one) has an SD card slot), or via cloud
facilities such as Dropbox, SendSpace and so forth (these two services may
or may not work in some cases).

I just got the Apex a week or so ago and am ready to put some documents on
it. I tried to do this using a thumb drive, but it wouldn't recognize it as
a drive. Can I not do this or did I just have it in the wrong port? Thanks.
