Hello,
If the braillenote is not recognizing it, you may want to try
formatting it first.
Sometimes when I get new drives, I find it best to format them
first, then try using them with the braillenote.

it may be an unsupported drive. Plug it in to the Apex, turn it
on (insert the disk while the Apex is off) and see what happens.
If not, turn the Apex on, insert the disk and do a normal reset
(just press the reset button once and let it go again).
