Hi;
I have been considering the same question. For example I can purchase
the voice-note for approximately $2,000.00 If I add a 32 cell display
the price jumps to 6400 or approximately a 4400 charge for a 32 cell
display. Yet I can purchase a 40 cell display for 3,000 significantly
less. True the 40 cell display will be larger but somewhere about 1400
is getting lost. I was hoping one could purchase a voice-note and
simply connect a braille display when needed. Tech support tells me
that's not a possibility.
Also when I ran a few questions past them I was a bit disappointed in my
answers. For example, If someone sends me an email with a link to a
site in the message I can't just enter on the link I have to copy and
paste. Seems rather basic. Also the problem of flash hasn't been delta
with.
On the other hand the newest greatest unit from hims is about the same
price and with the exception of my email issue has similar problems.
I took a look at the newest braille plus running on android which sounds
interesting but the price is about the same as the braille note with an
18 cell display and at least so far although you buy through aph if
there are any serious service issues it first goes back to aph and they
in turn send it to level star.
Bottom line is there isn't an ideal solution out there. If i was more
daring I'd just buy an i-pad or netbook.--
