Hi,
We thought of doing that, but turned out that the hosting company for our
site has set a limit on number of messages being sent per hour (maximum of
500, which would be unacceptable, seeing that we could have hundreds of
subscribers). We also looked at websites which hosts Mailman services, but
found that it required tweaking some deeper settings with the assistance
from our hosting company and monthly costs.
Thanks.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: re: [Braillenote] BrailleNote List Transition

Folks
I really must Object.
Not to the moving of the list which is all well and good. Fine and dingy
but to it's new home!
To be completely honest with you all and those of you who have used the
service will know where of I speak.
YAHOOGROUPS SUCKS!
Cannot the folks who administer the braille note users info site set up a
list using the mail man software? It is one of the easiest and most user
friendly interfaces around and is FAR more dependable than yahoo.
I gotta say it. If this list does move to yahoo. I won't be on it.
Respectfully submitted
Jack Zimmerman
