The reason that I suggested that these devices be purchased by Medicare, or insurance companies is because the rehabilitation system is both unable and unwilling to purchase these devices unless their arms are twisted. Also, rehab targets persons with the goal of competitive employment, thus screening out many people who could benefit by having the devices even though they will not be using them in an employment situation.
