To answer your questions the case does do a fairly good job of protecting
the the BN/VN. Since it's a specially designed case design just for the
BrailleNote or VoiceNote there is no way that you can a case at Walmart. I
however do have a case that I bought from a company here in the US who
designed a case for the BrailleNote/VoiceNote when it first came out four
years ago. If you are interested in purchasing this case that I've got.
