Halalulia Barb.  I have been crying for an independent way of connecting and 
disconnecting from the modem without going through email for a long time on 
this list.  I keep getting all these weary stares from other list 
members--well, I imagine they're staring at me--and they keep saying "Sure Bob, 
whatever."

Maybe I'm getting a little dramatic here--a better word might be paranoid.  
But, it is good to find a kindred spirit.

Okay, fellow listers, I promise, next message like this will be off list.  You 
know, ...  whatever.
