If the student issues the command to know the cursor position, this will say where the cursor is, and therefore tell the person how much the student has written. On the BT, the command is SPACE with dots 1-5-6, but I don't know the QT command. If this command is issued, the response will be something like "Page 1 Line 6 Column 37". This means that the student has filled up 3 full lines on the first page and is toward the end of the fourth line (using the Braille document default Page Setting of 40 columns per line). If the cursor said something like "Page 11 Line 3 Column 5", this would mean the student has written 10 full pages and has just started the 11th. Hope this helps. Maria
