I don't know why this is Brenda, but for some strange reason, Keysoft or just 
the circuits of the bn or something won't let you format disks.
There is no command for that reason.  However, if the system detects a bad 
disk, the Windows program will ask you if you want to format the disk and warn 
you that all files and the like will or could be erased.
It then tells you I think, to press enter if you want it to reformat or as it 
puts it "continue"
I don't know exactly because I don't use disks as much with this loner I have, 
but it really doesn't matter, because if you try it, you either get an error 
message, or it sits there for who knows how long trying.
I tried it once and it really screwed things up for a while.
So ignore the garbage it gives you about trying to reformat, exit and try 
another disk.
I wish you could reformat disks, the capacity is there in the Windows Ce 
program, but not in the bn.
