Hi,

I tried transferring the gps maps using activesync and the program choked on
the large files even when connecting via the bn network card.
As for the adaptor, I have one here and it works really well for the gps card
for example. Since I use the rear slot for the network card, it really is more
convenient for me to use the gps card in a pcmcia adaptor in the side slot.

If you have a pcmcia slot on your laptop, the adaptor would be the way to go in
my opinion. The other alternative is to get a card reader for the pc, but
since you're using a laptop I'd go for the adaptor since you could also use it
for other things and they're not that expensive.

Hi all,

I would like to have a fast way of moving files from computer to Braille
Note. This is especially true when trying to move any gps map files to the
flashcard.

Has anyone tried purchasing a pcmcia card adaptor for use in a laptop and
transferring files that way? Have a del enspiron 400 with two pcmcia slots,
one of which is occupied with my network card.

Thanks for any thoughts.
