I have a client who was purchased an original Braillenote and ended up with the same problem after he paid a ridiculous amount for the upgrade to the new system. After much effort, he was told that this was simply the way the switch was suppoosed to operate. If so, then somebody at PDI messed up, because it is neither tactile friendly or secure.

I am a 3-minute-old subscriber to this group, and I am glad to announce that I have become a proud owner of a brand new Braille Note QT18 when I got my new Braille Note QT18 yesterday! Now I got a question about the power switch on the left side of it. It is a rocker switch, and unlike other rocker switches that go to the desired position by a simple and slight push, it is very soft and does not move on its own, and I have to push it all the way to the end of the desired position. Is this a normal behavior with all the power switches of Braille Note QT 18, or mine has a defective power switch? Thanks much for your help! Regards. ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
