Hi all,

Excuse me, I think we're talking at cross purposes here. Access
doesn't mean replication of OS. What it means is replication of
applications and a smooth transition between the GUI and the menu
driven BN.

So, I'm not for going to Windows CE, but rather for expanding the
capabilities of the BN to accept ways of transfering data and so on.
That's why I think that Wireless and USB compatibility is so
important. So long as files and data can be transfered seamless
between units, then you've got it made! If the Elba is anything to
go by, then the BN should take lessons there. They have Wireless,
They have USB, they have FTP and Telnet! They also have a
development kit and the software is under the GPL.

Why force a bird to walk if it can fly, I ask you? Why force a mole
to live in a glass house? Why ask a cat to swim. Rather, modify the
wings so they work even better. Bring better digging tools so that
the mole can start mining. Build a bridge over the stream so the cat
can cross over and start hunting on the opposite bank. Nay, folks,
The mind-set that says the GUI is the best way toward access is short
sighted and narrow.

Just my $.02.
