This happened to me once at work, I think I had to do a 4, 5, 6 reset
and reset the time and date etc. with the unit plugged in. I know, it
sure startled me, and I was ready to send it home with my husband to
ship it in when he suggested I try the reset option.

Hello all,
Have a problem I've never encountered before. I recently went on
vacation
and used the BN for significant work and reading. The battery was
fairly
low when I stopped reading, and I had the compact flash card in when I
stopped, which I'm sure further drained the batttery. However, if I plug
in
the adaptor, I get no message stating that I have done so and, despite
having left the unit charge for 2 hours, I continue to get neither
message
on the braille display nore speech. I have tried a 1-2-3-4-5-6 reset,
but
to no avail. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
Amy
