Since I am predominantly a left-handed braille reader I hang the case
over my head and off to my left side. Most of the time no one really
notices it and it is a great way to spend time reading while waiting for
rides.

Hello,

I'm sure we can all share creative ideas about how we hold and use our
BN during our busy lives. I've used the pew in front of me at church,
but be careful not to let it fall on someone's bowed head. <grin> I
use it standing up while putting the strap over my head, so it goes
diagonally in front of me. I guess I don't worry too much about how it
looks. If people are standing in front of me, I don't think it will be
too noticeable. I especially enjoy using podiums when I speak, because
the audience can't see the BN, since the podium is at a slant. They
think I've got the whole speech memorized.

With a smile,
Karen
