Hi all,

Oh, Richard, what a great post! <smiling> I couldn't have said it
better. Nothing's perfect in this world. Only God is perfect.
Therefore, anything man creates needs constant improvement.

I also whole-heartedly agree that having a choice for individuals who
want note-takers is a must. Someone who is a power JFW user may take
to a PM with no problem. On the other hand, someone who is wanting
good braille support and an uncluttered menu system may benefit from a
BN. It's all in the choice and in what works best for an individual
user.

I, for example, prefer a non-graphical interface, and I want a single
unit without the aggravation of attaching and unattaching a braille
display. I want the braille display because I am fortunate to have a
talking computer, in fact more than one. So, the BN suits my needs
admirably. I also love the way I can count on the long battery life
of the BN. I used it most all day today, and it only went down to
sixty percent! No laptop will do that! I love the portability. I
stood schmoozing today in the workshop I was at, with the BN around my
neck. I took down a couple of people's contact info just while
standing there! Now what I could really use is a softer strap,
Something that wouldn't jab you as you wear it. <smile>
