If you're laptop has a slot for the PCMCIA Type II card (because others don't, 
and support only Types I and III), then you need the PCMCIA Type II adapter 
which fits also in the right-hand slot of the Braille/VoiceNote.  Check out 
http://www.synchrotech.com, use the search facility and look for that type of 
adapter.
