Dear Lisa,

The underline is in the font menu. All of the fonts, bold, underline,
italics are there.

Be sure you have your BN set up to use a printer which supports all the
fonts you will want to use. Even if you don't have a printer, pretend you
do and choose one from the printer setup list. I'd suggest LaserJet or
DeskJet. The standard printers don't support the fonts.

Subject: [Braillenote] how do you underline

: Hi Listers,
: I thought I'd spend some time trying to get acquainted (the formatting
menu. It refuses to underline and I followed the directions in the User's
manual. I saw nothing about italics in the format menu or other common
formatting things like bolding bullets etc. I don't need these fancy things
for now but if I ever do how do I access them if they appear to be
nonexistent? I just find it frustrating and annoying to read the user's
guide expecting it to be helpful when sometimes it simply isn't helpful.
Luckily there are nice people on this list who know a lot more about the BN
then I could ever hope to know.
: If anyone has any ideas on where this stuff is located I would appreciate
the information.
: Thank you.
