hi, I have been off the list for a few months and have tried to use this product steadily for work. Below is a list of problems that might have been recorded already, but tech was no help and I am not too happy.
1. With my new work computer with Win XP pro my word documents will not open up on the BN. The unit says missing DLL. Another feature gone. 2. If I have over fifty messages on my key mail box, besides taking a while to download, if I do not read any of them it takes over one minute to move each to the trash folder. Yes, even if I mark them first, eighty messages will take me over an hour and a half just to manage them. Then another fifteen minutes to empty deleted trash folder upon exiting. this makes my mail account impossible to use. Besides the fact that key web takes forever to process many pages without a status notice. 3. where is the USB ports? Is it coming? If so, will we have to get another hardware upgrade? My last one was 800 dollars and all I got was a dial up account that would cost 20 bucks on my pc and work a whole lot better. Am I complaining? I guess so, I really just wanmt to sell this four thousand dollar unit and get the pac mate. If for any reason, it is for the USB ports and to actually use ms word. Tech on this list said you cannot use word on win xp and that message is noted. Also, I have a laptop at work and USB sure would allow me to use active sync since I have no old serial ports. I really feel its outdated and each upgreade will cost me a bundle like the last, and hopefully I won't get something like an expensive dial up account like last time that could never keep up with the demands in the business work world. Maybe someone wants to buy this and let me get a modern unit. ps you guys on the list sure are great and helpful for explaining all that tech stuff, thanks. Danny
