Hi, Terry. When I had a braile note loaned to me, I did charge it up by
plugging it into a power strip without any problems.
As far as I could tell, it charged up just fine. Perhaps others could
advise me if one would get a better charge plugging directly into the 110
outlet rather than a power strip.

That is correct. Although you can plug it in and use it, it will take
longer to charge.
Don't worry about leaving it plugged in. It won't over charge.
