Hi Lisa,
Go onto the NLS Web Site Again. Select your book as you did before. Use
your cursor keys and you should see the name of the book, Author etc. When
you are on line with that site, the response time from the site may be slow
so be patient. Once you see anything about the book on your display, do
the command to save a file. It is spacebar with S. When asked for the
filename, give it your preferred name with a .brf extention. Your BN
should save the file. If the book you wish to read has more than one
volume, move your cursor so that the number one of volume 1 is under
it. Do the overwrite command which is spacebar O on a bt. Write two in
its place and hit enter. The next volume should be on your display. Save
that volume to a file. Keep doing this till you have all the volumes of
the book you wish to read in your unit. If you are getting the low beep
sound at any point, reset your unit and try again! Do other things as
freeing database space etc. This may help you with properly downloading
books since your flash and system disks will have more space to work
with. Downloading books is surprisingly easy with a BN.

Hi Listers,
I actually attempted to download a book from WebBraille and I don't think
it got downloaded. If it did I have no clue where the BN put the book. I
just downloaded one volume of a book and here's what happened. I put in
my user name and paassword and then I got this Web page that just said the
link with the volume of the book on it. That's it else on the
page. Actually it was not a link just a Web address. I would press enter
on it and get nothing. What am I doing wrong? If my password and user
name were rejected I would think the NLS Web site would have some
rejection message. Why is something so simple so hard? I just thought
using Web Braille would be easy but I guess I'm wrong us usual when it
comes to the BN. I looked in all of my folders and the book isn't
there. I didn't have any progress tones or please wait messages when this
weird Web page with the book number and volume came up. I would
appreciate any advice anyone can give me. Thanks for your help. !
Sorry I just thought this would be easy.
Lisa
