hi, i'd like it if you didn't have to undo the case enabling the use of the infrared port. i use the infrared port a lot with my laptop and it works really well, but it's just a bit of a bind to have to undo the case every time to move the strip of material at the back out of the way. peggy, my braillenote lives on my shoulder and i've never had any trouble with it wanting to fall out and no, i wouldn't try and stuff the charger in to the case, i'd just put it in your coat pocket or another bag which you use. i mainly use the zip compartment of the case for holding compact flash cards that have gps, tnauk publications and various other articles which i can read on the buss and train. all the best, richard.
